Intel has recently unleashed its new media campaign for re-branding.
It is a series of print/tv/internet advertisements built around the
concept of 'Sponsors of Tomorrow'.
Here is the site of their campaign:
http://www.intel.com/tomorrow/
With some catchy lines like 'Our rock stars aren't like yours' and
'Our big ideas are aren't like your big ideas', I am sure this will
result into a lot of traction getting generated in Intel Sales
department :)

Google wave !
Google recently announced one more ambitious project - "Google Wave".
This concept mainly consolidates different mediums of conversation
over internet but mainly email and IM.
It is really interesting that the distinction between the two vanishes
in what is called as a 'wave'. In a wave, people write and the wave
gets updated. You can see what people are typing in real-time. When
there is a group conversation, you see the wave(conversation) getting
updated at different places at the same time which might be a little
overwhelming.
CNET has published a nice Hands-on-experience or review of Google Wave
here http://news.cnet.com/8301-17939_109-10255402-2.html
Google Wave will be released for public use by late this year, Google
says. Let's see how much energy this Wave generates once it starts
rolling.
